How I tutor
A holistic approach to the MCAT
Content review is only part of it. We work on how you study, how you think through questions, and how you hold up over months of prep.
A study plan built around you
We start from your test date, your practice scores, and the hours you can commit to studying each week. Then we adjust the plan as your full-lengths come in, and my spreadsheet schedule tracker helps you stay on it.
Reasoning over memorizing
The newer MCAT is heavy on reasoning, and memorized facts only go so far. We build a real conceptual understanding of the hard topics so you can adapt to passages and questions you've never seen before. High-yield content outlines and strategy guides are on the way.
Study habits that hold up
How to review a practice test with my question review spreadsheet, what to do with Anki and question banks, and how to stop spending hours on work that doesn't move your score.
Getting to test day intact
MCAT prep is long. We plan for rest, test-day nerves, and the weeks when motivation drops, so you can keep going.
Your first session
We start where you are
Every first session is tailored to where you are in your prep. If you're just starting out, you leave with a study schedule that fits your life. If your exam is three weeks away, we go straight to the concepts and review you need most. Either way, you get what you came for.
A timeline we build together, if you need one
We map out weeks of content review, practice, and full-lengths around your test date, classes, work, and the time you need to rest.
Strategies for your weak spots
For the sections and topics giving you trouble, I explain how to study them and how to reason through those questions on test day.
Resources that fit your budget
Which books, question banks, and practice tests are worth it for how you learn, including free options. I also share the YouTube videos, podcast episodes, and lectures that helped me most and didn't waste my time. I'm building my own materials too, like a spreadsheet to organize your whole prep and step-by-step guides for sections like CARS.
Notes sent after the session
I email you a written summary of your plan and everything we covered, so you don't have to remember it all.

FAQ
Who do you work with?
Mostly students preparing for the 2027 MCAT, whether you're just starting content review or already taking full-length practice tests.
Do you tutor every section?
Yes. Sessions can cover Chem/Phys, CARS, Bio/Biochem, and Psych/Soc, plus study planning and reviewing your practice tests.
Where do sessions happen?
Online over Zoom. You'll get the link when you book.
How do packages work?
Ask about a package on your free call or at your first session, and I'll send you a payment link. Then you book your hours on my calendar as you go.
Why is this an "early bird" rate?
I'm just starting to take MCAT students, so my first students get a lower rate than I'll charge later.
